Every year, I get the ‘Wow! Is it Christmas time already?’ feeling. I think we’ve all been there: it’s October, and the supermarket is suddenly stocking Christmas items, and it feels like it’s getting earlier and earlier each year 🙂 That being said, there is always one day we always look forward to, and that’s the day we dust off the decorations and decorate the Christmas tree.
Here’s a great, easy, fun and fast way for you to share a little of this excitement too: Easy Peasy Christmas Tree Arts and Craft. This activity will brush away those winter blues and let you add a little color, a little craft, and a lot of creativity to the room. Follow the simple instructions (see the video below – it really is easy!), and your rooms too will soon be decked with colorful paper strip Christmas trees. What’s more, there’s a free template to make it even easier for the kids to enjoy.

Bright Ideas
- For younger children: cut strips ahead of time
- Use different decroative items (mosaic tiles, sequin mix, pom pom balls, stickers, self-designed paper ornaments, shells, and many more)
- Incorporate math with this craft for young children. Precut the strips and write number on them. For example, 1 on the longest strip and consecutive numbers as the strips get shorter.
